*Responsive Reading       Psalm 118:14-24        Pastor Randy

The Lord is my strength and my power; the Lord has become my salvation.

There are joyous songs of victory in the tents of the righteous:

“The right hand of the Lord does valiantly, the right hand of the Lord is exalted,

The right hand of the Lord does valiantly!”

I shall not die, but I shall live, and recount the deeds of the Lord.

The Lord has chastened me sorely, but has not given me over to death.

Open to me the gates of righteousness, that I may enter through them and give thanks to the Lord.

This is the gate of the Lord; the righteous shall enter through it.

I thank you that you have answered me and have become my salvation.

The stone which the builders rejected has become the cornerstone.

This is the Lord’s doing; it is marvelous in our eyes.

This is the day which the Lord has made; let us rejoice and be glad in it.

*Responsive Reading       Psalm 91:1-10          Pastor Randy

Those who dwell in the shelter of the Most High, who abide in the shadow of the Almighty, will say to the Lord,

“My refuge and my fortress; my God, in whom I trust.”

For the Lord will deliver you from the snare of the fowler and from the deadly pestilence and will cover you with his pinions;

Under the Lord’s wings you will find refuge. God’s faithfulness is a shield and buckler.

You will not fear the terror of the night, nor the arrow that flies by day,

Nor the pestilence that stalks in darkness, nor the destruction that wastes at noonday.

A thousand may fall at your side, ten thousand at your right hand, but it will not come near you.

You will only look with your eyes and see the recompense of the wicked.

Because you have made the Lord your refuge, the Most High your habitation,

No evil shall befall you, no scourge come near your tent.

*Responsive Reading                Psalm 32                                                                                     Pastor Randy

Blessed are those whose transgression is forgiven, whose sin is covered.

Blessed are those whom the Lord does not hold guilty, and in whose spirit there is no deceit.

When I did not declare my sin, my body wasted away through my groaning all day long.

For day and night your hand was heavy upon me; my strength was dried up as by the heat of summer.

I acknowledged my sin to you, and I did not hide my iniquity;

I said, “I will confess my transgressions to the Lord”; then you forgave the guilt of my sin.

Therefore let those who are godly offer prayer to you;

At a time of distress, the rush of great waters shall not reach them.

You are a hiding place for me, you preserve me from trouble; you encompass me with deliverance.

I will instruct you and teach you the way you should go; I will counsel you with my eye upon you.

Do not be like an unruly horse or a mule, without understanding, whose temper must be curbed with bit and bridle.

Many are the pangs of the wicked; but steadfast love surrounds those who trust in the Lord.

Be glad in the Lord, and rejoice, O righteous;

Shout for joy, all you upright in heart!
